Stroke Art Fair 2025
The Stroke Art Fair 2025, taking place on Thursday, May 1, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Praterinsel, Praterinsel 3-4, 80538 Munich, showcases 'Emerging Contemporary Art' through an unconventional and experience-oriented approach. This fair allows international galleries and artists to present a diverse array of creative expressions, including painting, street art, graffiti, photography, anime, and illustration.
Christian Herzog's artwork, featuring a stencil of David Bowie, exemplifies the kind of creativity on display, available for EUR200. The fair aims to surprise and engage audiences, provoking thought and amusement through various artistic forms such as painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, animation, design, comics, and digital art, alongside influences from urban and street art.
Since its inception in 2009, the Stroke Art Fair has welcomed around 250,000 visitors, establishing itself as a platform that connects various artistic movements. Each year, the organizers invite emerging artists to create the key visual for the event; this year, Skio from Nice has been selected. Skio's work spans large-scale murals in public spaces, canvases in the studio, and immersive installations, employing methods such as spray paint, airbrush, brushes, or digital tools.
The fair also features a bar in the courtyard open until 8:00 PM. More information can be found at www.stroke-artfair.com. Tickets are available only at the box office and can be purchased in cash or via PayPal from May 1 to May 4.
