On Monday, December 8, 2025, from 20:00 to 23:00, the renowned cellist Sol Gabetta will dedicate her performance to Lisa Cristiani, the first professional cellist in music history. Cristiani broke through societal taboos and conventions over 200 years ago, establishing the cello as a solo instrument and paving the way for the creation of significant cello concertos in the decades that followed.

The concert will feature works by Schubert, Offenbach, Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Rossini, and others.
