Schindler - Stoffner - Tramontana
The upcoming concert featuring Schindler, Stoffner, and Tramontana brings together exceptional talents in a collaboration that has been cultivated over decades. Udo Schindler's unique relationship with the electric guitar has significantly influenced his musical journey, which has recently focused on string instruments, including the mandolin and banjo.
Flo Stoffner, the Swiss partner for the June concert, has gained international acclaim for his radical playing style, characterized by a distinctive individuality that explores the full sound spectrum of his instrument--from harsh and rough to delicate and fragile. His documented duos and trios with Schindler's wind colleagues are particularly captivating.
At Schnitzer Studio, the duo expands to a trio with the world-class trombonist Sebastiano Tramontana, who has been collaborating with Udo Schindler for over 30 years, resulting in numerous publications. Flo Stoffner performed with Tramontana for the first time in 2024 at a birthday event for Paul Lovens in Aachen. Tramontana is renowned as one of the leading trombonists in the genre, performing with prominent artists at concerts and festivals worldwide.
