Join us for an engaging beginner chess course specifically designed for young players aged 10 to 15 years at the Caissa Center München. Our courses follow the proven structure of the German Chess Federation (DSB) and consist of eight double lessons, all led by a qualified trainer. Upon completion, participants will take an exam, and those who pass will receive the DSB's Pawn Diploma, Rook Diploma, or King Diploma.

This beginner course, aimed at aspiring chess players, requires no prior knowledge. All necessary skills will be taught during the sessions, including:

• Movements of the King, Queen, Rook, Bishop, Knight, and Pawn
• Special rules such as castling, pawn promotion, and en passant
• Endgame scenarios: checkmate, stalemate, resignation, and draw agreement
• Chess notation, the language of chess
