Join us for an enchanting evening of classical music featuring the renowned international soloists and music directors Bartholomew Fortino-Shields (violin) and Chan Mi Jean (piano). They will perform some of the most romantic works of German classical music for violin and piano. This recital is particularly special as Fortino-Shields and Jean will be making recordings for the London-based label Sheva in June, a label praised in prestigious publications such as Gramophone Magazine, BBC Music Magazine, Financial Times, and Naxos Music Library. The evening's program includes Robert Schumann's Violin Sonata No. 2, Johannes Brahms' Scherzo in C Minor from the 'F-A-E Sonata', Gustav Mahler's 'Adagietto', and Richard Strauss' Violin Sonata.
