Join us for the Queer Slam in Munich, a poetry slam designed specifically for the LGBTQIA+ community! Every month, we welcome performers from across the German-speaking world to share their works with you. Local poets from Munich and its surroundings will also enrich our line-ups, including emerging talents from Munich's under-20 scene.

Unlike a theme-based slam, the only requirement for participants is to identify as queer in some form. The themes of their texts are open to the performers, though you can expect a predominance of queer topics. Everyone is warmly invited to the audience! The Queer Slam Munich aims to be a platform for exchange within the queer community. We are especially excited to welcome proud allies and curious sympathizers who want to listen to the thoughts and experiences of our queer poets.
