Paul Ruban, »Der Duft des Wals«
Join us for the book premiere of Canadian author Paul Ruban's debut novel, Der Duft des Wals, on Tuesday, April 15th at Literatur Moths in Munich. The event will feature Paul Ruban in conversation with Anna Woll from the Museum Brandhorst.
This engaging discussion will focus on Ruban's debut, which he describes as a satire on all-inclusive holiday resorts. Whether in Palma de Mallorca or Cancún, these resorts serve as a mirror and microcosm of our hedonistic societal excesses.
Der Duft des Wals is an extraordinary novel that is particularly suited for fans of The White Lotus, The Menu, or Triangle of Sadness. The book has been translated into German by Jenniffer Drummer, a freelance journalist and translator known for translating works by Joséphine Bacon, David Goudreault, and Marie-Anne Legault.
