Pannenberg Lecture mit Harald Lesch
At this year's Pannenberg Lecture, Prof. Dr. Harald Lesch will discuss the relationship between the doctrine of creation and cosmology, a topic that the theologian Wolfhart Pannenberg engaged with throughout his life. Harald Lesch, a philosopher and astrophysicist, serves as a lecturer in natural philosophy and the physical limits of science at the Hochschule für Philosophie.
The Wolfhart Pannenberg Research Center at the Hochschule für Philosophie in Munich offers a lecture every two years featuring publicly recognized figures who speak on topics relevant to Pannenberg's theology. Registration is not required.
The Wolfhart Pannenberg Research Center, supported by the Hilke and Wolfhart Pannenberg Foundation, is dedicated to preserving and exploring the work of the Protestant theologian Wolfhart Pannenberg. It investigates his significance for philosophical and theological questions from an ecumenical perspective. The center is led by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Gunther Wenz. Pannenberg, a leading scholar in the Lutheran tradition, promoted theological dialogue with the Catholic Church and taught at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich.
Additionally, the research center holds a colloquium each year, documented in the Pannenberg Studies series, with 12 volumes published to date. The 13th volume will be dedicated to a lecture by young lecturer Pannenberg on 'Marxism in Theological Perspective' and is set to be released in late August 2025.
