Orgelsound 360°: ,,Die Königin der Instrumente"

Bergson Kunstkraftwerk/Bergson Elektra Tonquartier

Experience an extraordinary organ concert that merges the timeless works of Johann Sebastian Bach with the innovative acoustics of the Elektra Tonquartier, Europe's most intelligent concert hall, which until now has been without an organ. This event is part of the Munich Bach Festival, featuring renowned conductor and organist Hansjörg Albrecht.

Albrecht, celebrated for his recent transcription and recording of all eleven symphonies by Anton Bruckner, will take you on a captivating auditory journey. Enjoy the rich sounds from historic organs, such as the impressive instrument from the Abbey Church in Caen, crafted by the legendary Aristide Cavaillé-Coll, and the bright tones from the Gottfried Silbermann organ in the Freiberg Cathedral. The performance will also feature the powerful sonority of the Skinner organ in Pasadena, USA.

Thanks to a new Hauptwerk system, organ samples from famous organs around the world will be played on an electronic console, allowing for a unique acoustic experience. The venue will recreate the original reverberation times and spatial effects of these magnificent organs, making you feel as though you are seated in various grand churches throughout history.

Join us for a new listening experience that promises to delight not only fans of organ music and Bach!
