On Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 20:00 to 23:00, the British rapper from London, Loyle Carner, will bring his new album "hopefully !" to Germany and Switzerland. Carner is one of the most successful musicians of his generation in the UK and is widely regarded as one of the most important voices from the United Kingdom. With his poetic lyrics and subtle rap vocals, the 30-year-old artist creates tracks that mature with smooth hip-hop beats, jazzy loops, Boom Bap, and Neo-Soul influences across his three albums.

With a global following and nominations for the Mercury Prize, BRIT Award, and NME Award, Carner has performed worldwide and sold out concerts at legendary London venues like Alexandra Palace, Wembley Arena, Royal Albert Hall, Eventim Apollo, and O2 Academy Brixton. In 2024, he headlined the All Points East festival in London's Victoria Park before 35,000 fans. Recently, he announced his brand-new album "hopefully!" with the singles "all i need / in my mind," set to be released on June 20 via Island EMI and presented live during a worldwide tour.

Benjamin Coyle-Larner, who grew up in London, initially planned a career as an actor but turned to music as a teenager. He chose the stage name Loyle Carner in reference to his dyslexia and ADHD and released his debut EP "A Little Late" in 2013. Since then, he has developed a distinctive style characterized by diary-like lyrics and an ambitious, genre-blending hip-hop sound. His debut album "Yesterday's Gone," released in 2017, dealt with personal experiences of grief and the pressures of growing up, featuring his biggest hit "Damselfly" feat. Tom Misch, which has been streamed over 110 million times on Spotify.

In 2019, Carner released his second album "Not Waving, But Drowning," which debuted at number 3 in the UK charts and includes four of his most successful tracks: "Ottolenghi," "Desoleil (Brilliant Corners)," "Loose Ends" feat. Jorja Smith, and "Ice Water." In 2022, his third album "hugo" was released, revealing a fierce and concise exploration of his Black identity. This album also reached number 3 in the UK album charts and was described by The Observer as a "beautiful, stunning masterpiece." In July 2024, Carner was awarded an honorary doctorate from the London University of Arts for his outstanding achievements and commitment to those affected by ADHD and dyslexia. In early 2025, he made his acting debut in the BBC drama "Mint" by Charlotte Regan. With his new album "hopefully !", Loyle Carner announces the beginning of a new era.
