Haus der Kunst

Invernomuto presents the exhibition titled "Triton" at Haus der Kunst, a multidisciplinary research project initiated by the artist duo Simone Bertuzzi and Simone Trabucchi. This innovative exhibition format evolves over two years, creating an open artwork that circulates both physically and digitally. The current work cycle draws inspiration from a real amphibian colony in Val Trebbia, Northern Italy, where two rainwater basins carved into the rock of Pietra Perduca have been inhabited by newts, referred to as 'Tritons' by locals, since the Bronze Age. This exhibition continues Invernomuto's exploration of nonlinear time narratives and aims to develop a sculptural object that integrates parallel temporalities through sounds, texts, and sensory feedback. The project will involve a diverse range of collaborators.
