Schwere Reiter

On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 20:00 to 22:00, come and experience a captivating evening of classical music at Schwere Reiter, located at Dachauer Straße 114a, 80797 Munich. This concert features Laurianne Follonier (piano), Lisa Orthuber (soprano), and Ansgar Theis (baritone), who will perform works by renowned composers Moritz Eggert, Markus Münch, Helga Pogatschar, Markus Schmitt, and Bernhard Weidner, alongside pieces by emerging talents Marisa Algari, Nina Deuse, Ines Lütge, Sophie Reich, and Katharina Schmauder. This special concert highlights the generation of founders from aDevantgarde, celebrating their 60th anniversary. These composers, who collaborated during the festival's early years, reunite for a night filled with vocal and chamber music, bringing together seasoned artists and their younger counterparts to bridge the gap between generations.

The aDevantgarde #18 Music Festival, themed 'Beauty,' marks its 18th edition this summer. Curators Alexander Strauch and Markus Lehmann-Horn have crafted a program that explores the concept of beauty in contemporary music and beyond. What constitutes beauty in new music? How do modern interpretations transcend mere questions of taste? Join us at aDevantgarde #18 for an unforgettable exploration of beauty in music.
