On Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 19:00, join us at the Artothek & Bildersaal, Rosental 16, 80331 Munich, for the grand finale exhibition featuring artists from the previous shows. The artists participating include Sabine Bretschneider, Elke Härtel, Florian Lechner, Torsten Mühlbach, Ivo Rick, Rasso Rottenfusser, Venske und Spänle, Moritz Walser, Patricia Wich, and Elisabeth Wieser. This exhibition examines the spaces within the art venue, expanding, shaping, and inscribing themselves into it, while exploring the traces of art left behind. Over 200 exhibitions have left their layers in the Bildersaal, with each artist making the space their own. The culmination of these experiences is not just an end but a new beginning, as they weave their narratives into the fabric of the venue.

The vernissage will feature speeches from Dr. Michael Ott (Cultural Department of the City of Munich), Tina Hudelmaier, M.A. (Artistic Direction of Artothek & Bildersaal), and Florian Froese-Peeck (Artistic Concept of the Exhibition). The introductions will be translated into German Sign Language.

Following the speeches, an opening performance titled "das was war ist das(s) was ist ist das(s) was wird" by Nikolai Vogel will take place, engaging with themes of shaping, loops, and the passage of time.

The exhibition will conclude with a finissage and farewell party on Saturday, May 31, 2025, starting at 18:00. This event will feature a performance titled "I Kiss Your Style" by Stefan Römer, who will read and sing from his new sound project, along with dance and music by DJ GHETTO DISCO and djkranklaut.

Please note that the art space will be relocating due to extensive renovations at the City Museum. Starting October 1, 2025, the art rental will be at the new address: Burgstr. 4, 80331 Munich (near Marienplatz).
