Approximately 130 works illustrate the rich cultural and historical connections and distinctive stylistic features of woodblock prints, spanning from the mid-18th century to the shin-hanga, or 'New Prints,' of the 20th century. The original pieces are complemented by thematic stations displaying large-format reproductions that highlight the intricate details of the prints. The exhibition also lightly touches upon the subjects of manga and anime.
