Der Brandner Kaspar und das ewig' Leben

Münchner Volkstheater

Experience the classic tale of 'Der Brandner Kaspar und das ewig' Leben', a story about a stubborn farmer who outsmarts death itself. When the Boandlkramer arrives to take him away, Brandner Kaspar tricks him by getting him drunk with Kerschgeist and wins several more years of life through a game of cards. However, this clever deception comes to the attention of Petrus, the gatekeeper of heaven, who does not tolerate any deviations from the divine plan. The Boandlkramer must then offer Brandner a taste of the eternal pleasures of paradise, testing the boundaries of life and death in this humorous comedy. Directed by Christian Stückl, the production features an engaging ensemble cast including Alexander Duda as Brandner Kaspar, Maximilian Brückner as Boandlkramer, and many more.
