This exhibition at the Staatliche Antikensammlung pays homage to the collaboration between the Münchener Secession (Association of Visual Artists) and the Deutscher Künstlerbund during the period from 1898 to 1916, when both organizations used the museum as an exhibition space. The special exhibition not only revives this historical context but also showcases contemporary artists from both associations.

A related symposium titled "Artists: Alone or in Groups. Reflections and Prospects" will be held on Thursday, February 27 at 18:00 at the Academy of Fine Arts.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by Markus Blume, the Bavarian Minister of Science and Arts, with greetings and an introduction by Dr. Florian Knauß, Director of the Staatliche Antikensammlungen and Glyptothek, Dr. Karin Althaus, Head of the Curatorial Department at the Lenbachhaus, and Johannes Muggenthaler, President of the Münchener Secession and member of the Deutscher Künstlerbund, on Tuesday, January 28 at 19:00. The exhibition runs until April 27.
