On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 20:00, join the Leipzig Indie-Folk band Almost Twins for an unforgettable concert at Milla, Holzstraße 28, 80469 Munich. Their debut album, ,,Hands / Trees", made quite a splash, leading to multiple tours across Germany, numerous placements on DSP playlists, international radio plays, and even a nomination for a German Pop Culture Award for one of their music videos.

Almost Twins has teamed up again with producer and bassist Alex Binder (known for his work with Anna Erhard, Dota, Crucchi Gang, Anna Hauss) to create their follow-up album ,,Visions", which is set to release in January 2026. Originally conceived as a solo project by singer and guitarist Max Grüner, Almost Twins evolved into a collective with a nearly twin-like bond among its five members: Laurenz Welten (saxophone, clarinet), Valentin Mühlberger (Wurlitzer, synth), Raphael Schuster (drums), and Arne Imig (bass). Together, they interpret Max's songs with a depth of emotion that avoids being overly sentimental.

With warm synth layers and swirling Wurlitzer patterns combined with dreamy saxophone and clarinet lines, their sound is light yet profound, radiating tranquility while still embracing bursts of energy. Fans of singer-songwriters like Erlend Øye (Kings of Convenience), José González, or This Is The Kit will find much to love in their music.

By the end of 2025, Almost Twins performed around 60 concerts throughout Germany, including appearances at festivals such as Detect Classic, Alinae Lumre, Wipfelrauschen, Zugvögel, and Roots & Sprouts.
