65 Jahre Münchner Motettenchor - Musikalisches Sommerfest

Matthäuskirche

In 1960, the Münchner Motettenchor was founded by Hans Rudolf Zöbeley and has since held a significant place in Munich's musical landscape. To celebrate this milestone, the choir will feature particularly festive works, including Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy's Jauchzet dem Herrn, alle Welt, Heinrich Schütz's Alleluja! Lobet den Herren!, Johann Sebastian Bach's motet Singet dem Herrn, and John Rutter's Gloria. The composer himself described his Gloria as 'alternately exalted, devoted, and jubilant' - making it fitting for a summer choral anniversary.

After the concert, the Münchner Motettenchor warmly invites you to a summer reception.
