Drug Dealer Hangs Himself in Remand

Munich. A 46 year old man hanged himself on tuesday morning in prison. He was arrested beforehand for drug dealing.
The guards of the penitentiary at the Munich headquarters found the 46 year old motionless in his cell at around 5:15 AM. The unemployed man was arrested temporarily on Monday evening. At around 10:30 PM he was brought to his solitary cell.
At around 4 AM a policeman checked the prisoner on his hourly inspection walk. At this time the detainee was sleeping in his bed in his cell. At the next inspection, the policemen found him hanged.
The 46 year old man had ripped the bed sheet into strips and strangled himself at his cell door. Despite resuscitation attempts by an emergency doctor, the man died in the cell.
