In the district of Wehringhausen, Hagen, a pregnant woman has become a victim of domestic violence. The incident occurred on a Thursday night when the woman, who is 20 weeks pregnant, reported that her husband physically assaulted her by kicking her in the abdomen multiple times. According to her statements, there have been previous altercations stemming from jealousy, leading to earlier instances of physical aggression from her spouse.
After her husband left the residence in the morning, the woman took the brave step of contacting law enforcement. Subsequent medical examinations indicated that, fortunately, her unborn child remained unharmed. In response to the incident, the police issued a ten-day restraining order against the husband, prohibiting him from returning to the home.
Authorities emphasize the importance of seeking help in situations of domestic violence. Victims or those aware of such circumstances are encouraged to report incidents to the police or to reach out to the free helpline 'Violence Against Women' at 116 016 for assistance.
