Police call for witnesses in suspected murder case

According to a press release from the Bavarian Police from July 22nd 2019, a missing case in Munich Ramersdorf has led to the arrest of a suspect for murder.

On Saturday, July 13th 2019, at 2pm, a 41-year-old woman from Munich and her 16-year-old daughter allegedly left their apartment in Munich, Ottobrunner Straße, to go shopping in the nearby shopping center PEP. Since then, the two had no contact with their relatives and haven't been seen by any other persons.

According to the current state of investigation the case is now assumed as a homicide. The 44-year-old husband of the 41-year-old woman and stepfather of the 16-year-old girl was arrested as a suspect on Sunday, 21.07.2019. The arrest warrant for him is based on the charge of murder.

Due to the current ongoing investigation, no further information can be provided on a possible course of action and the exact status of the investigation by the police at the moment.
Rather, the Munich police hope for additional information by expanding the public investigation. The pictures in the link below show the missing persons, the suspect and the two cars of the family, a red Hyundai i30 and an anthracite colored VW Tiguan.

The police ask people who have noticed anything related or suspicious in the area of Ottobrunner Straße 31 in Munich or any other location with regard to the suspect and the two cars, especially on Friday, 12.07., Saturday, 13.07. or Sunday, 14.07.2019, to immediately contact the Police Headquarters Munich, Commissariat 11, Tel. 089 / 2910-0, or any other police department.
