A worker on a construction site was badly injured Wednesday after he fell from a ladder just before 9 o 'clock this morning.
The cause of the accident, which occurred on Schießstättstraße, has not yet been confirmed. The 56-year-old fell from a height of two metres and incurred various bodily injuries.
The site of the accident was hard to reach, and subsequently the fire service had to be called in. The injured person was lifted by a crane, across the building site, to a waiting ambulance, which was about 50 metres away.
