In a remarkable incident reminiscent of an action film, a car launched over a stone wall and landed in a garden in the small town of Jübek, located near the Danish border. The event occurred on a Thursday evening, prompting residents to investigate the loud crash they heard around 7 PM.

Upon looking outside, they were astonished to find a severely damaged Chevrolet Captiva resting in their yard, having not only demolished their garage but also a parked VW Tiguan within it. Miraculously, the driver was able to exit the wreckage on his own, as if unscathed by the chaos that transpired.

The 51-year-old driver managed to extricate himself from the vehicle with only minor injuries. Although he experienced light bruising and shock, he declined further medical treatment after being assessed on site. Fortunately, none of the residents of the house were harmed during the incident.

According to police reports, the driver lost control of his vehicle while approaching a junction from the direction of Silberstedt. It was noted that he had overtaken another car before entering the intersection at high speed. The vehicle first uprooted a tree on the left side of the road before soaring over the wall and crashing through a hedge into the garden of a single-family home. The garage ultimately halted the car's momentum, preventing it from causing even more damage.

Emergency services, including the fire department and the Technical Relief Organization, were dispatched to the scene. Before they could begin to remove the vehicle, they had to assess the structural integrity of the heavily damaged garage. Using a crane, they managed to lift the Chevrolet upright and extract it from the garden.

The investigation into the precise causes of the accident is ongoing. Initial evaluations by the authorities indicated that the driver was not impaired while operating the vehicle.
