Local media reported that the area around the Seungjin Training Ground has faced ongoing complaints from residents regarding the risks and disturbances associated with military training exercises.

A resident named Park recounted the moment of the explosion, describing it as a thunderous noise that shook his entire home. He recalled stepping outside to find chaos in the aftermath of the incident.

Furthermore, a nearby senior center was also affected by the blasts, with shattered windows and injuries reported among staff members. Fortunately, the senior residents were unharmed, although they experienced considerable fright.
