Munich. A worker became trapped under a heavy metal bar during construction work in a building site.
The 27 year old worker was injured during basement work at Rennbahnstraße on monday morning. According to the fire brigade, the man was trapped between a 3 x 4 metre framework unit and the gravel slope of the basement. He was lucky in the sense that the girder only hit his shoulder. His work colleagues immediately moved the frame unit with a crane. The firebrigade was able to lift him safely of the pit using a stretcher and a crane. The worker was brought to a hospital for further treatment.
