When a 21-year-old woman left the Oktoberfest last year, she fell victim of a stalker who followed and assaulted her on the doorstep of her home.

Munich - The Oxford student from Weilheim was on her way home from the Oktoberfest when she saw a naked man on the street. She started walking on the other side of the road, but the man started chasing her. She eventually reached her doorstep, thinking she was safe but the stranger grabbed her chest, and tried to take off her clothes and only abandoned the attack when her mother appeared at the door.

Kurt P. (26) must appear now before the district court to charges of assault and attempted rape. A DNA trace is expected to convict the industrial mechanic. The 26-year-old has already been convicted several times for acts of exhibitionism. He had exposed himself to a neighbour and in the gym. "I know why you come" he answered to the police who took him away for questioning. Even yesterday, he confessed. "I'm such an exhibitionist," he admitted.

But the court must now determine whether the exhibitionist has become a potential rapist. The judge is asking whether this was an isolated event or the beginning of a trend.

On the 23rd of September 2010, Kurt P. arranged a meeting with another girl via the Internet. After a walk she invited him into her apartment. But when he saw that the apartment was messy, he lost his interest. "I just wanted to go home. A part of my inclination, I'm an ordinary person."

On the way to his native village he saw on the streets the victim in her dirndl. He stopped his car and took off his clothes. After grabbing the girl in front of her doorstep, he was forced to stop the attack when he saw her mother and run away.
