The Munich Transport Company (MVG) recommends school children to apply for the 365-euro MVV ticket online. Anyone 15 years or older must upload a photo of student status confirmation during the ordering process. MVG recommends that you obtain this school confirmation before the summer holidays.
Tip for the holidays: If you order by Wednesday, July 26th, you will receive the ticket on August 1st and can already use it during the summer holidays. An order by August 26th is still sufficient to receive the ticket on September 1st and thus in time for the first day of the new school year.
Order online instead of standing in line
The advantage of ordering online: No queuing at the customer centers at the beginning of the school year. Pupils aged 16 and over can also order the 365-euro MVV ticket as a mobile ticket.
