Youth Gang Steals E-Cigarette on Bus in Ludwigshafen

Ludwigshafen witnessed a brazen theft on the evening of June 4, 2025, as a group of teenagers forcibly took an e-cigarette from two 16-year-olds aboard bus line 72. The incident occurred around 6:30 PM while the victims were traveling from Karl-Dillinger-Straße towards Hans-Warsch-Platz.

According to reports, approximately seven unidentified youths confronted one of the victims and demanded the e-cigarette under the threat of violence. Following the theft, the assailants exited the bus at Hans-Warsch-Platz and boarded a tram heading towards Oggersheim West.

The police have released descriptions of some of the suspects involved in the incident. One individual is estimated to be between 14 and 15 years old, with black hair styled in a middle part, wearing a gray Nike sweatshirt and blue jeans. Another suspect is described as being about 1.60 meters tall and of stocky build. A third individual is noted for having a buzz cut and wearing a red sports vest.
