In a shocking incident in Berlin-Mitte, a 22-year-old woman allegedly assaulted two ticket inspectors on the U6 subway line. The altercation occurred around 2:10 PM when the inspectors requested to see the woman's ticket.

According to police reports, the woman presented what appeared to be a counterfeit proof of entitlement at the Friedrichstraße station. When the inspectors began to verify the document, she reportedly grabbed a 63-year-old inspector by the neck and applied pressure. Following this, she turned her aggression towards a 54-year-old colleague, choking him and forcibly taking the ticket from his hand.

After the attack, the woman fled across the opposite platform and boarded a train. The older inspector pursued her and was reportedly kicked in the genital area during the chase. Police were alerted and apprehended the suspect one station later at Oranienburger Tor.

Both inspectors sustained minor injuries, including scratches on their necks, and the 63-year-old also complained of pain in his genital area. They opted to seek medical attention independently. The young woman was taken into custody by law enforcement and subsequently released after processing. She faces several charges, including robbery, fraudulently obtaining services, and forgery of documents. The robbery department of Police Directorate 2 (West) is currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
