Munich. An unidentified person set fire to three flower stands at the Viktualienmarkt on monday night.

At 10:40 PM a car driver noticed smoke generation at a flower stand at the Viktualienmarkt. He immediately called the fire brigade.

A plastic cover of another flower stand was already burning. A police officer was able to extinguish the fire. The police man doused a third blaze with water from a nearby fountain.

Total damage caused is estimated to be around 5000 Euro. Police is searching for witnesses.
