Authorities in Hamburg are deeply concerned for the safety of a senior citizen who has gone missing. Manfred Norbert Erich Adelt, aged 84, has not been seen since Friday, and police are intensifying their search efforts due to his critical need for medical assistance.
Mr. Adelt was reported missing by his roommate, who noticed his absence when he returned home and found the apartment empty. Initial reports suggest that the elderly man may be experiencing a severe psychological crisis.
Despite extensive search operations, including the deployment of tracking dogs, authorities have not yet found any leads regarding Mr. Adelt's whereabouts. The search has proven challenging, as the dogs have not been able to pick up a scent.
In terms of his physical appearance, Mr. Adelt is described as being between 170 and 175 centimeters tall, of slim build, with a bald head featuring sparse gray hair. He is estimated to be within the age range of 80 to 85 years. At the time he went missing, he was last seen wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans, and dark slip-on shoes.
Police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating him. Anyone who has seen Mr. Adelt or has information regarding his current location is urged to contact the police hotline at 040/4286-56789 or reach out to a nearby police station. In case of immediate sightings, individuals are advised to call emergency services at 110.
