Filming for this episode wrapped up in early April 2025 and took place in various locations around Auckland, showcasing the vibrant city as the backdrop for the storyline. Notably, Sila Sahin-Radlinger, known for her role in 'Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten', will appear as a guest star in this episode.

Concluding the 2025 season, the episode titled 'Bora Bora' is set to premiere on December 26 at 8:15 PM, continuing the tradition of featuring new episodes on the second day of Christmas. This installment will take viewers to the idyllic South Pacific paradise, marking the second time the series has ventured to Bora Bora since 2011. The cast for this episode includes Florian Silbereisen as Captain Max Parger, alongside regulars Barbara Wussow as Hotel Director Hanna Liebhold, Daniel Morgenroth as Staff Captain Martin Grimm, and Collien Fernandes as Ship's Doctor Dr. Jessica Delgado. Timothy Peach will also make a guest appearance in the 'Bora Bora' episode.
