U- Bahn Offender Captured

Munich. The U- Bahn offender, who in January brutally beat up 18-year olds in the Aidenbachstraße U '€“Bahn station has been captured. According to the police he is a 21 year-old, unemployed Turk, who lives in Graefelfing. He was arrested on Tuesday in the apartment of his girlfriend. Witnesses identified him as the assailant from Aidenbachstraße.

The 21 year-old said in an initial interrogation that he could not himself recall the incident in mid-January. After he had been shown the pictures from the camera,  he had to admit that it was him.

The offender was issued an arrest warrant for aggravated robbery. He remains in custody and the investigation is continuing.
