Beerta, Netherlands - The search efforts for Jeffrey, aged 10, and Emma, aged 8, who have been missing since Saturday, have taken a somber turn. Jeffrey and Emma were last seen in the care of their father, who had taken them from their home in Beerta. According to police reports, Bijl left behind a note indicating intentions to harm both the children and himself. The siblings were supposed to spend the weekend with their father, amid indications that their parents are separated.
