Theft Spree in Bedburg-Hau: Suspects Target Locker Rooms and Vehicles

In Bedburg-Hau, a series of thefts occurred on August 24, 2025, when two unidentified individuals broke into a locker room and stole various personal belongings. The incident took place between 2:15 PM and 5:00 PM at a facility located on Schulstraße, where the perpetrators gained access to an unsecured locker room.

During their time in the locker room, the thieves took jewelry, wallets containing identification cards, cash, and car keys from several bags. Following this, they searched a parked grey VW Polo, from which they removed a USB adapter.

Additionally, the suspects utilized a stolen credit card to purchase tobacco products from a vending machine located on Peter-Eich-Straße.

Descriptions of the suspects have been provided: both are estimated to be between 30 and 40 years old, standing approximately 180 cm tall, and both have full beards. The first individual is reported to have a Southern European appearance with an athletic build and was dressed in black. The second suspect is described as having an Eastern European appearance with short, reddish-blonde hair and wearing a white T-shirt.

During the same timeframe, between 1:50 PM and 6:00 PM, the side window of a black VW Golf parked on Schulstraße was smashed. A wallet containing cash and identification documents was taken from the vehicle. Authorities are currently investigating whether this incident is connected to the earlier thefts from the locker room.
