Texas Files Lawsuit Against TP-Link Over Alleged Surveillance in U.S. Homes

TP-Link, a prominent manufacturer of network routers and related equipment, is facing legal action in the United States after the state of Texas filed a lawsuit alleging that the company enabled unauthorized surveillance of American homes. The legal complaint, brought forward by the Texas Attorney General, accuses TP-Link of misleading advertising practices and asserts that the company may have facilitated access to user data by entities linked to the Chinese government.
