A 14-year-old boy was involved in a series of traffic incidents in Berlin-Tempelhof after unlawfully taking his father's company vehicle on Monday morning. According to police reports, the minor took the car keys without permission and set off with several passengers.

The escapade began around 11:15 AM when the boy collided with a Mercedes at Metzplatz. Witnesses, noticing the driver's young age, attempted to engage with him, but he chose to ignore their concerns and continued driving.

Police were alerted and positioned a patrol car on Friedrich-Wilhelm-Straße to intercept the vehicle. Although the teenager briefly stopped, he soon resumed his flight, resulting in a collision with the police vehicle, which sustained significant damage and was rendered inoperable.

The pursuit continued as he crossed the Tempelhofer Damm. At Friedrich-Franz-Straße, the boy abruptly exited the vehicle and fled on foot, prompting four other individuals from the car to follow suit. In their haste, they failed to engage the handbrake, allowing the Renault to roll unchecked into a parked Skoda before coming to a stop.

Officers chased the fleeing teenager and managed to apprehend him shortly thereafter. Following the necessary police procedures, he was returned to his guardians. Investigations are ongoing regarding several counts of hit-and-run, driving without a license, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
