In Stuttgart, authorities apprehended an 18-year-old male on Thursday afternoon during an operation targeting drug trafficking in the Klett-Passage. The arrest occurred around 4:30 PM when police observed a transaction between the young suspect and a 40-year-old man, wherein the older individual handed over cash in exchange for suspected narcotics.
Upon conducting a search, law enforcement officials discovered a chunk of hashish on the buyer. The 18-year-old, who reportedly resisted the police's efforts to detain him, was found in possession of approximately ten euros believed to be proceeds from drug sales, along with several grams of hashish and a unit of marijuana intended for sale.
The arrested individual, identified as an Algerian national, was presented before a judge the following morning. The judge issued a detention order, which was promptly enforced. Meanwhile, the 40-year-old involved in the exchange was released after police completed their investigation.
This incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding drug-related activities in urban areas and the efforts of law enforcement to combat such issues.
