Street Theft in Kassel: 28-Year-Old Man Assaulted for Mobile Phone

Kassel - In a concerning incident that took place during the early hours of Saturday, a 28-year-old man became a victim of street robbery in the Nordstadt district of Kassel. The robbery occurred in a public park located on Bunsenstraße, where the victim was seated on a bench when two unidentified men approached him.

The assailants demanded money from the victim. When he refused to comply, one of the perpetrators forcefully pulled him to the ground and assaulted him multiple times in the face. During the altercation, the victim's mobile phone fell to the ground, allowing the attackers to seize it before fleeing the scene.

Following the assault, the injured man managed to reach a nearby gas station, where he sought assistance and contacted the police around 4 AM. Authorities launched an immediate search for the suspects, but so far, their efforts have not led to any arrests.

The suspects are described as being approximately 22 to 23 years old, of average build, with dark skin and hair. They communicated in High German, which may provide further leads in the investigation.
