Pleinfeld, Bavaria - A 19-year-old woman has been taken into custody following a fatal stabbing incident involving a 15-year-old boy at the Brombachsee in Ramsberg, a district of Pleinfeld. Authorities report that the violent confrontation stemmed from a dispute over a cigarette.

Witnesses indicated that the two individuals had not previously known each other. They were part of larger groups of teenagers, aged between 15 and 20, who were socializing near the lake when the altercation occurred around 9:30 PM. Prior to the incident, both groups had been attending a local shooting festival.

The scene of the crime was marked by significant evidence, including bloodied sneakers and a large pool of blood where emergency responders attempted to revive the young victim. Unfortunately, their efforts were in vain.

Eyewitness accounts suggest that the argument over the cigarette escalated quickly, leading to the young woman allegedly using a knife to stab the boy in the neck. Local police spokesperson Michael Petzold confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and noted that the murder commission from the Ansbach criminal police has taken over the case.

Initial investigations revealed that the suspect has a prior record with law enforcement, including previous charges of assault and theft. Following a thorough analysis of the crime scene, forensic teams collected evidence and discovered the weapon used in the attack nearby.

Authorities have begun interviewing friends of both the suspect and the victim to gather more information on the circumstances surrounding the incident. A judge has issued a warrant for the suspect's arrest on charges of manslaughter, reflecting the serious nature of the crime.

This tragic event occurred in the vicinity of the lake, not far from where another incident had recently taken place involving a large catfish that had injured several swimmers, highlighting a series of unfortunate events in the area.
