Salesforce Cloud Services Experiencing Widespread Disruptions

Tue 10th Jun, 2025

Cloud services provided by Salesforce are currently facing significant disruptions, leading to login issues for many users, especially those utilizing two-factor authentication (2FA). Salesforce's technical team has been alerted to the situation.

According to the reports, customers are experiencing challenges while attempting to access various Salesforce services. The primary issue appears to be related to login attempts involving multifactor authentication, which has resulted in various error messages. The disruptions are affecting a wide range of Salesforce's cloud offerings, including the Commerce Cloud, Core services, Experience Cloud, Heroku, Hyperforce, Marketing Cloud, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Marketing Cloud Intelligence, MuleSoft, Revenue Cloud, Salesforce+ site, Salesforce Services Cloud, Salesforce Chat experience, Service Cloud, and Tableau Cloud.

For users of the Core services who utilize salesforce.com for login, there is a temporary workaround allowing access through the Salesforce Authenticator TOTP. Salesforce has pointed users to a support page for further assistance. Additionally, customers of the Commerce Cloud, particularly those using Omni-Channel Inventory and Salesforce Order Management, may face challenges with order placement and processing. Users of Salesforce Chat have also reported interruptions, with connections being lost during conversations. Fortunately, the Gov Cloud is currently not affected by these disruptions.

The issues were first reported on Tuesday morning at around 8:17 AM CEST, but the exact cause of the problem remains unknown. Salesforce has ruled out maintenance activities by a third-party provider as a potential trigger. The company is investigating with another cloud services provider to determine whether any activities or planned changes may have led to the current issues. Recent modifications within the Heroku environment are also being examined as a possible cause. As of now, there has been no response from Salesforce regarding inquiries about the underlying issues. Regular updates on the situation are being posted on Salesforce's status page.
