S-Bahn Delay Problems

The Munich S-Bahn should have being running on time after the holidays, however that is not the case. Since Monday, particularly in the rush hours, almost all trains were 5-15 minutes late. Alone on Thursday morning at about 10 clock nearly 30 suburban trains were delayed. A railway spokesperson said to TZ: "We have had massive problems with points malfunction and an emergency campaign." The new line constructions cause additional problems. The S-Bahn management are currently analyzing the problems to find the reasons for the delays and asking passengers for more patience.
