Robbers Steal Cigarettes Worth EUR2,500 in Hermsdorf

In a brazen theft incident, unknown assailants made off with cigarettes valued at approximately EUR2,500 from a beverage store located on Erich-Weinert-Straße in Hermsdorf on June 6, 2025, around 6:00 PM. The tobacco products were stored in a carton within the store's office, and the method by which the perpetrators accessed the room remains unclear.

Prior to the theft, two individuals were noted acting suspiciously within the establishment. The first suspect is described as a male aged between 20 and 30 years, standing about 170 cm tall, sporting an upper lip mustache, and having medium-length black hair. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket and black jeans. The second suspect, taller at approximately 180 cm, had short blonde hair and was dressed in a gray sweater.

The local police, specifically the Saale-Holzland police department, are currently investigating the possibility of a connection between these two individuals and the theft.
