A disturbing incident occurred in Berlin's Neu-Hohenschönhausen district, where three young girls became victims of a suspected racially motivated attack. According to reports from the Berlin police, the incident took place on Thursday evening at approximately 5:10 PM.
The three twelve-year-old girls were walking along the sidewalk at the intersection of Zingster Straße and Ahrenshooper Straße when an unknown assailant began verbally assaulting them with racist slurs. In an attempt to escape the situation, the girls ran away.
However, the suspect followed one of the girls into the hallway of a nearby apartment building. In a shocking turn of events, the attacker physically grabbed the girl by her arms and violently shook her, causing her to hit her head multiple times against the wall. The assault resulted in injuries, prompting the girl to require medical attention.
It was only when a bystander intervened that the assailant ceased her attack and fled the scene in an unknown direction. Emergency services were alerted and provided immediate care to the injured girl at the location.
Authorities have since launched a thorough investigation into the incident. The Police State Protection Unit of the Landeskriminalamt (State Criminal Police Office) has taken over the case, focusing on identifying the suspect and gathering further evidence.
This incident has raised serious concerns regarding safety and the prevalence of racially motivated violence in the community. Local officials and community leaders have expressed their outrage and are calling for prompt action to ensure the safety of all residents, particularly children.
As investigations continue, police urge anyone with information related to the incident to come forward and assist in bringing the perpetrator to justice. Community members are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
