Wed 21st May, 2025

The renowned Madame Tussauds wax museum in London has unveiled a stunning new wax figure of Princess Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge. The figure captures the essence of the 43-year-old royal with a bright smile, reminiscent of her appearance at a recent garden party held at Buckingham Palace.

The wax model is adorned in an eye-catching pink dress designed by the celebrity designer Jenny Packham and complemented by silver high-heeled shoes from Gianvito Rossi. Notably, the figure also features a replica of a tiara that once belonged to the late Princess Diana, enhancing its royal authenticity.

Princess Kate made her first public appearance in two years at the garden party, stepping out with her husband, Prince William, who was donned in a classic top hat. She wore a pastel yellow dress paired with a matching fascinator for the occasion. This appearance marks a significant return for the Duchess, who had taken a hiatus from royal duties due to health issues.

In January 2024, Princess Kate underwent abdominal surgery, and during her recovery, she received a cancer diagnosis, which led to a course of chemotherapy. After completing her treatment in September 2024, she has gradually resumed her royal engagements, making her re-entry into public life a poignant moment for both her and her supporters.

The unveiling of the wax figure coincides with a renewed interest in the royal family, with fans and visitors eager to celebrate Princess Kate's resilience and style. The new addition to the museum is expected to attract numerous visitors, providing them a chance to admire the craftsmanship of the artists who created the figure as well as to connect with the royal legacy.

Madame Tussauds continues to honor notable figures in contemporary culture, and this latest exhibit serves as a tribute to the enduring popularity of the British Royals in the eyes of the public.
