Police Intervene in Unauthorized Softair Shooting Practice in Greußen

Greußen - A routine evening in the town took an unexpected turn when police received reports of individuals engaged in shooting activities on Andreas-Tentzel-Straße around 6:45 PM. Concerned citizens alerted law enforcement about a group reportedly handling a weapon.

Officers promptly arrived at the scene and discovered the group in the act of shooting at a makeshift target. Fortunately, no injuries or threats to public safety were reported.

Upon further investigation, it became clear that the individuals were not using a traditional air rifle, as initially suspected. The owner of the weapon clarified that it was a softair gun. Given the circumstances, police confiscated the weapon along with its ammunition for safety and legal reasons.
