Osnabrück experienced a significant police presence on Thursday afternoon following a violent confrontation on Rehmstraße. The incident, which took place around 1:15 PM, involved several individuals and resulted in minor injuries to a woman and two men, all of whom were subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities initiated a search for one individual who fled the scene, but have since concluded their pursuit. At the site of the altercation, law enforcement discovered shell casings believed to be linked to a blank-firing or gas pistol. Fortunately, no gunshot wounds were reported among those involved in the dispute.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the altercation are ongoing. Officials assured the public that there was no threat to bystanders, and nearby facilities, including a senior center and a daycare, remained unaffected by the disturbance.
