Paderborn - In recent weeks, the Paderborn region has witnessed a disturbing surge in violent robberies, with four men falling victim to these attacks in May alone. The incidents are believed to be connected to arrangements made through the online platform mysugardaddy.com, where victims had arranged meetings with individuals posing as young women.

The robberies predominantly took place in the districts of Schloß Neuhaus and Sennelager, characterized by extreme brutality. The assailants employed physical violence, utilizing kicks, punches, and blunt objects to inflict harm on their victims. Despite the severity of the attacks, the perpetrators specifically targeted money and valuables before fleeing the scene.

The victims, hailing from the broader region of Ostwestfalen-Lippe (OWL), reported that the attackers typically operated in pairs or small groups. Descriptions provided by the victims indicate that the suspects appeared to be teenagers or young adults, dressed in dark clothing, and conversing in German.

The Paderborn Police have expressed concern over the potential for further incidents and are urging any additional victims to come forward. Authorities encourage anyone who may have been targeted or who possesses information about these crimes to contact them at 05251 306-0 or visit any local police station. The aim is to resolve all related cases and preempt any additional assaults that could lead to serious or life-threatening injuries.

This alarming trend has prompted law enforcement to increase their vigilance in the area, as they work diligently to apprehend the individuals responsible for these heinous acts. Community safety remains a priority, and the local police are committed to ensuring the public is aware of these dangers while seeking justice for the victims.
