Munich. This year, the Spring Festival arrives with rides, street performers and a large flea market. Sepp Krà¤tz, the Oktoberfest host and entertainer, organizes the first party in his mini-Hippodrome on Friday, which despite the 20 euro entrance fee, is already sold out.
Outdoor entertainment providers hope for good weather. Only then will families be attracted to the uncovered rides on carousels and the like. Every Tuesday is family day with discounts.
Also on the first weekend there are a few events: Saturday is the big flea market; then on Sunday, the traditional classic car meet up on Theresienwiese.
There is another spring premiere on 25th April. On that Sunday a crowd over 70 street artists perform at the Spring Festival. The visitors can vote on the best acrobats, musicians and mime artists.
