Missing Kangaroo in Berlin: Authorities Continue Search

A kangaroo that escaped from its enclosure in southwest Berlin remains unaccounted for, despite efforts from local authorities to capture the animal. The wallaby, a small species of kangaroo, made its getaway over the weekend after an unauthorized individual opened the gate to its pen.

Witnesses reported seeing the kangaroo hopping through the streets of Kladow, prompting police intervention. Officers attempted to corral the elusive creature, but it managed to evade capture and bounded into a nearby forest. Since that initial sighting, there have been no further reports of the wallaby's whereabouts.

According to preliminary investigations, the kangaroo belongs to a private owner. The authorities have indicated that there is no immediate danger posed by the animal to the public. Consequently, the police are not conducting an extensive search but are encouraging anyone who sees the wallaby to report it.
